RoR research and development project – Development of a system for interactive exercise and balance assessment

Kinestica d.o.o. is a leading partner in the consortium of research and development project (RRI project) “Development of a system for interactive exercise and balance assessment – RoR” in which together with the company Sublimo d.o.o. obtained co-financing in the public tender “Incentives for research and development projects 2” of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology. The project will be co-financed up to € 172,636.41.

The goal of the RDI project is to develop a new medical device that will solve one of the key problems of the elderly, which has a strong impact on the quality and safety of living. The proposed medical device uses modern materials and ICT technologies to relieve health workers, increase their productivity and thus directly reduce the cost of the health system for users and the state.

The investment is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. The operation is implemented within the “Operational Program for the Implementation of European Cohesion Policy 2014-2020”, priority axes: “International competitiveness of research, innovation and technological development in accordance with the smart specialization for greater competitiveness and greening of the economy”; Investment priorities: “Promoting business investment in research and innovation and establishing links and synergies between business, R&D centers and the higher education sector, in particular by encouraging investment in product and service development, technology transfer, social and environmental innovation, public service applications services, fostering demand, networking, clusters and open innovation through smart specialization and supporting technological and applied research, pilot lines, early product evaluation measures, advanced production capacity and first production, in particular in key enabling technologies and dissemination of technologies for general use “; specific objective: “Increased share of innovation-active companies”.
