Neurological rehabilitation expo

Previous week Kinestica attended the Neurological rehabilitation expo in London. This was the first step to introduce Bimeo technology to the UK market.

Neurological rehabilitation expo is the UK's largest show for medical professionals working in the rehabilitation of neurological conditions and therefore a suitable ground for the entry into the market. Numerous professionals from all over the country and abroad came to see the advances in rehabilitation device industry and had the chance to try the Bimeo live and in action.

Occupational therapy congress in Würzburg

The German association of occupational therapists organised its yearly congress in the beautiful town of Würzburg. Occupational therapists from all over Germany and neighbor countries joined the congress from 6. – 8. May 2016.

The congress topics did cover occupational therapy approaches in different medical fields, research, education models, political requirements, organisational challenges and many more. The congress was accompanied with an exhibition, where providers of rehabilitation products, software solutions and education introduced their services and products to the OTs and students.


Congress of the European society of physical and rehabilitation medicine

For a week in april, members of the European society of physical and rehabilitation medicine (ESPRM) gathered in Estoril, Portugal to learn about the advances in the field, present their work and meet with colleagues from Europe and rest of the world.

Topics covered at the congress were diagnoses (ICD), disabilities (ICF), health interventions (ICHI) and health accounts (ICHA) within the fields of education, research and public health. The congress was enhanced with an exhibition, where Kinestica and companies as Motekforce, Hocoma, Neofect etc. presented their products and advances in rehabilitation and all around.

Contemporary views on stroke

Kinestica joined the congress Contemporary views on stroke (Sodobni pogledi na možgansko kap) at the Medical Faculty of Maribor.

The congress, organised by the University medical centre Maribor brought together around 150 experts from Slovenia, Austria, Croatia and Mecedonia. The congress topics covered the whole process after a stroke – diagnostics, threatment and rehabilitation. Bringing experts together to disscuss the new views and possibilities within the field enables them to establish a better process flow, which results in better patient outcomes.
